An estimated 30,000 people died from opioid overdoses in the U.S. in 2017. With so many people being affected what is being done to treat addiction?

Marco Pravetoni, PhD, senior investigator at the Hennepin Healthcare Research Institute and associate professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Minnesota discussed his team's research on a vaccine to treat opioid addiction on Minnesota Public Radio (MPR).
